Lecapitaine recognised once again at SOLUTRANS!

Lecapitaine, the Petit Forestier Group’s refrigerated bodybuilder based in Saint-Lô, was once again distinguished at the SOLUTRANS I-nnovation Awards, the leading European event for industrial and urban vehicles held in Lyon from 18 to 22 November 2025.

By winning the Silver Award in the Bodybuilders category with its SafeWall by Lecapitaine innovation, the Group confirms its position as a leader in the refrigerated transport sector and reaffirms its commitment to customer-driven innovation.

An innovation designed to simplify multi-temperature transport

SafeWall by Lecapitaine is an innovative partition, adaptable to both LCVs and heavy trucks, designed to make multi-temperature transport management easier — a key challenge for food and pharmaceutical logistics operators. Presented for the first time at this international trade show, this patented mobile partition with an ingenious folding system offers thermal insulation comparable to that of a fixed wall.

Developed for simple and intuitive handling, SafeWall by Lecapitaine unfolds, positions itself and folds back in a single movement. Its ergonomic design follows the user’s natural gestures, ensuring optimal comfort. Its automatic floor-locking system keeps the load securely in place, while remaining easy to unlock.

By combining thermal performance, ease of use and adaptability, SafeWall by Lecapitaine perfectly illustrates Lecapitaine’s ambition to go beyond the standards of refrigerated transport by offering tailor-made, reliable and truly useful solutions for its customers.

SafeWall by Lecapitaine

A history of award-winning innovations

SafeWall by Lecapitaine is part of a long series of innovations developed by Lecapitaine. Over the years, the company has regularly earned recognition at the SOLUTRANS I-nnovation Awards, demonstrating its continuous ability to innovate. Among the awards received:

  • 2017: Bronze Award for EasyAcc'Air, a sectional door opening system that allows a 100% clear loading passage without compromising thermal insulation.
  • 2019: Silver Award for RigidLink, a self-supporting structure designed to increase the payload capacity of a refrigerated vehicle while ensuring robustness and reduced weight.
  • 2021: “Libner” Special Prize for Urban by Lecapitaine, a refrigerated body designed for urban delivery: optimised payload, energy savings thanks to lighter weight and improved insulation, and enhanced comfort and ergonomics for drivers.
  • 2023: Gold Award and “Libner” Special Prize for Recircle Solution, a new range of recyclable refrigerated bodies.

These repeated achievements highlight Lecapitaine’s industrial expertise in innovation — a structured, field-driven approach aimed at continuously advancing the standards of refrigerated transport.
